Privacy notice
Last updated October 7, 2026. This covers the StitchSwap waitlist at stitchswap.app.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The username you ask us to reserve.
- If you apply for verification: your social media handle and platform, and your marketplace profile link and platform.
- Who invited you, if you joined with someone's link.
- A one-way fingerprint of your network address and a random ID your browser keeps, used only to stop spam sign-ups. We can't turn the fingerprint back into your address.
Why we use it
- To email you a link that confirms your email address and shows your place in line.
- To hold your username, once you confirm your email, until you sign up for the app with the same email. Usernames go to whoever confirms first, and sign-ups that aren't confirmed within 48 hours are deleted.
- To email you when it's your turn in the beta, and send occasional StitchSwap news.
- To work out your place in line.
- To check a seller's accounts before giving a Verified badge.
Who can see it
Only the StitchSwap team. We never sell your information. It's stored with Supabase, our database provider, and emails are sent through Resend, both in the United States. Your reserved username will be public once you use it in the app.
Your choices
To stop StitchSwap emails, reply to any of them with "unsubscribe". To change or delete your details, or release a reserved username, email stitchswapsupport@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.
